Which of these intuitive eating mantras from @evel Which of these intuitive eating mantras from @evelyntribole new book ‘Intuitive Eating for Every Day is your favorite??? List the number below.

This week on the Food Heaven podcast, a listener asks us what to do if they have “gotten off track” with intuitive eating. I hear this so much from my clients. They often worry that they are going to fail at intuitive eating because they failed at every other diet (or as I like to put it, every other diet failed them).

The beauty of intuitive eating (IE) is that it’s not possible to “fail”. IE is a journey that involves reconnecting with your body to cultivate trust and body respect. Having said that, during the pandemic, many of our clients find themselves skipping meals, experiencing changes in appetite, not being motivated to cook, and so on. Today we’ll be covering: how to be more compassionate and understanding with yourself, ways to ease back into intuitive eating, practical tips to create consistency with eating habits & MORE!

PS. If you are looking for ways to incorporate more intuitive eating into your life, I’m LOVING these Intuitive Eating Mantras from Intuitive Eating for Everyday, which includes 365 daily practices and inspirations to reconnect to food and your body. It has everything from mantras to activities that will help you put IE into practice in practical ways!!

This conversation was a reminder to slow all the way down and allow the brain to take a break and wander. Devon Price is a social psychologist, clinical assistant professor, and the author of Laziness Does Not Exist. We cover:

• Deconstructing laziness and getting into why it’s not a thing
