If you’re new to the site, that’s Wendy on the left and Jess on the right. We are both Registered Dietitians with Master’s degrees in nutrition. We’re also certified diabetes educators. That’s where the MS, RD, CDE’s come from at the end of our name. The simplest way to describe us is BFFs who love to eat, cook and nerd out about anything nutrition related.
We like to change our hairstyles a lot, too (check out our YouTube page for living proof). In short, Food Heaven started in 2011 as a creative outlet to build community through food. Throughout the years, the brand has grown beyond our wildest dreams, but our philosophy has remained the same…nutritious food should be delicious and accessible. We’re intentional about taking on an inclusive, Health at Every Size approach, and so you’ll see we offer lots of resources on intuitive eating and body respect. To find out about all we have to offer on the website, check out our START HERE page. In the meantime, we invite you to browse around, pop a hello down below, and sign up for our newsletter to stay in the loop.

November 4, 2015 at 9:48 pm (5 years ago)Hello ladies! I”ve recently discovered your podcast. Thank you so much for your contributing to the health of perfect strangers – LOL! I truly look forward to the information you ladies will share, as I am transitioning to a healthier lifestyle. My husband and children are overweight, and I suffer from a lot of aches and pains. I’ve never been a physical person, having naturally been slim most of my life, so getting into working out is hard – but yoga is good. I attribute my aches and pains to nothing more than the food I eat (and a little age as well). Again, thanks for sharing.

January 5, 2016 at 3:22 am (5 years ago)I am very pleased to have found out about this site. You showed up in a buzzfeed article on my newsfeed. I love having women of color to look up to as health role models. As a therapist (in NYC) I am focusing this year on how my physical health/well being impacts my mental, emotional, and spiritual health. Looking forward to making great use of your resources.

January 8, 2016 at 5:04 am (5 years ago)YES! I am so glad you all became Buzzfeed contributors! That’s how I found you too, and I am SO excited to start following you on *all* of the things!! I eat vegetarian – I am a pretty bad one and def eat way too much carbs, cheese and sweets – but knowing there are two dieticians repping the veggie life (AND you’re WoC too?! YAS!) is hugely encouraging. I am a new super fan. Fa real. Keep going ladies!

February 9, 2016 at 7:34 pm (5 years ago)Hello Ladies,
I was just reading the 16 Tips for Losing Weight on msn.com, and clicked on your site. It was great seeing the faces of two beautiful young dietitians talking to us about healthier eating. Well, I am looking forward to learning more and getting some knowledge about correct eating. I’m really tired of starting, stopping, and starting again with the eating plans. My daughters just told me that they want me around for a long time, so I believe I’ll let God use you two to educate this old(er) lady(smile). I’m looking forward to trying some of the recipes and changing some bad eating habits.
