Whole Wheat Spiced Pancakes

Ingredients
  • 1 cup of whole wheat flour
  • 1.5 cups of unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon of cinnamon powder
  • 1 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup
  • 1/3 cup of walnuts
Instructions
  1. Mix all dry ingredients together.
  2. Add in milk, oil, and honey/syrup.
  3. Mix well until lumps are gone.
  4. Heat non stick pan or use nonstick spray on pan.
  5. Pour some batter in the pan and get to making pancakes!
  6. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side under medium heat.
  7. When pancakes are done, sprinkle walnuts and drizzle with some honey. Enjoy!
