Matcha Almond Butter Cups
Ingredients
  • 1, 100- gram bar of dark chocolate
  • 1/4 cup of creamy almond butter
  • 1/2 tsp hemp seeds
  • 3/4 tsp matcha
Instructions
  1. Start by breaking the chocolate bar into smaller pieces, and place into a small saucepan
  2. Warm the chocolate over very low heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently with a spoon until all the chocolate is melted
  3. If your almond butter is super creamy, then you're ready for the next step. If not, you may have to repeat the same heating process with the almond butter until it is completely smooth and easy to pour
  4. Assemble 6 cupcake holders on a tray or within a muffin pan
  5. Pour one small layer of dark chocolate in each cup
  6. Then pour a layer of almond butter
  7. Top with another layer of dark chocolate
  8. Sprinkle the hemp seeds evenly on each cup, and then place into fridge for 2-3 hours
  9. Once chilled, add the matcha to a bowl, and using a pastry brush, dust the top of each cup with matcha powder
  10. Enjoy as snacks for the week or share with friends!
