Chocolate Olive Oil Cake

Ingredients
  • 3 cups of whole wheat flour
  • 2 teaspoons of baking soda
  • 6 tablespoons of cocoa powder
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • Pinch of salt literally
  • 2 tablespoons of apple cider vingar
  • 3/4 cup of olive oil
  • 2 1/2 cups of warm water
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Instructions
  1. Mix all dry ingredients (first 4 ingredients) together in a large bowl
  2. Pour in the remaining ingredients into the bowl and mix well. (Hand mixer delivers best results)
  3. Pour into a lightly greased cake pan and bake for 30-35 minutes on 350F. (To see if it’s ready insert a fork into the cake. If it comes out clean, you’re good to go)
  4. Allow to cool for 10-20 minutes. Enjoy!
